Its associated AD account is disabled as no-one should ever be logged on as the actual user. Mailbox is a bog standard user account and Exchange mailbox. What an odd issue, Outlook 2016 must be connecting via a different method to earlier versions of Outlook.

I did try on a previous install manually setting folder permissions via the right-click > Properties dialog as suggested in the error but it made no difference. We have an issue with shared calendars, they've been picked up from the upgrade from Outlook 2013 which is fine, they open and can be viewed but we cannot edit items in those calendars. We have an on-site Exchange 2010 SP3 server on the latest updates. I have an issue with Outlook 2016, I've got it running on a couple of user's PCs to test under our Office 365 Business Premium licencing (most of us are currently on Office 2013).
